On September 27th our team pitched in front of an expert jury at the highly prestigious BioRiver Boost! Pitch Contest. The jury of representatives from prestigious companies such as Bayer, Lonza, Qiagen, HTGF, Johnson&Johnson and Miltenyi recognized the great potential of our fibre-based sugar alternatives and catapulted us onto the winners’ podium with 3rd place.

Prominent visit by Ye-One Rhie, Member of the German Bundestag and Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment. During her visit, Ms. Rhie was impressed by the benefits of our fibre-based sugar alternative, including the taste, of course!

Using 178,000 € from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research our team will develop a state of the art process for the chromatographic purification of our sweet dietary fiber. Upscale of this process will provide about 25 kg of our healthy sugar alternative for application studies.

An outstanding pitch from Marcel secures one of the highly coveted places on the winners’ podium at the DATIpilot Roadshow in Essen. This success will grant our project a 12 – 18 month fund from the Federal Ministry for Education and Research, enabling upscale of our biotechnological process.
