{"id":2206,"date":"2025-10-23T08:56:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T06:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sweethoven-biotech.com\/?p=2206"},"modified":"2025-10-23T08:56:06","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T06:56:06","slug":"sweethoven-biotech-showcasing-at-the-eit-food-next-bite-2025-in-brussels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sweethoven-biotech.com\/?p=2206","title":{"rendered":"Sweethoven Biotech showcasing at the EIT Food NEXT BITE 2025 in Brussels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andr%C3%A9-neff-806a66269\/\">Dr. Andr\u00e9 Neff<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marcel-h%C3%B6vels-098a22112\/\">Marcel H\u00f6vels<\/a> had the great honour to showcase our sweet-tasting dietary fibers at our own booth in the NEXT BITE Startup Village (even though, technically speaking, we are not a start-up at all \ud83d\ude09)<br><br>Participating in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/eit-food-seedbed-incubator\/\">EIT Food Seedbed Incubator<\/a> 2023 has been one of the most impactful milestones in our journey so far. Without this program, our early-stage research project would never have gained access to the incredible network and support that allowed us to connect with leading pilot partners &#8211; some of whom are now testing our sugar alternatives in real food applications! This progress played an important role in our successful VIP+ validation funding application, which was recently approved and will provide around \u20ac1.3 million over the next three years.<br><br>Beyond the scientific and entrepreneurial opportunities, what truly sets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/eit-food\/\">EIT Food<\/a> events apart is their community spirit. It\u2019s not just about innovation; it\u2019s about shared curiosity, collaboration, and passionate changemakers working toward a healthier and more sustainable food system.<br><br>A special thanks goes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/aamir-lonne\/\">Aamir Lonne<\/a>, our talented Master\u2019s student, who conducted his thesis on application testing of our sugar alternatives &#8211; and whose cookies and raspberry jam prototypes were proudly presented at our booth! \ud83c\udf6a\ud83c\udf53<br><br>Thank you, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/eit-food\/\">EIT Food<\/a>, for building such an inspiring and empowering ecosystem.
